Medical Students

Undergraduate medical students are seconded to the practice 3-4 times per year. This is a very important part of training for student Doctors.They usually sit in with the Doctor during consultations, and sometimes a patient may be asked to see a student before seeing the Doctor. However, no-one is obliged to consent to talking to a student, or to a student being present.
