Our practice opening hours are shown below

We run two clinics daily, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Other sessions are filled by special clinics eg minor surgery, diabetes, spirometry.

Appointments

Consultation is by appointment only. Please telephone before attending the surgery. If you are unable to make your appointment, please telephone as soon as possible to cancel as this allows someone else to attend in your place.  You can also cancel using our online cancellations form. 

If you wish to speak to the practice nurse or the Dr on duty, please telephone between 11-30 and 11-45 am. If they are unable to take your call at this time they will phone you back later. All our doctors are part-time so you may find if you wish to see a particular Doctor you may have to wait for an appointment, but we have a small number of appointments kept free each day which are for very urgent problems.

Home Visits

Please telephone the surgery before 10-00am to request a home visit. The reception staff will ask for some information about the problem so that the day’s visits can be prioritised, and the Doctor may phone you.

The Doctors do appreciate it if every effort is made to attend the surgery if at all possible.

This is enormously helpful to the Doctors and nurses and enables them to see many more patients.
